Its central idea is the Travel Lifespan: how long your body, energy, confidence, and sense of possibility allow you to keep exploring the world on your own terms.

Jen Ahana

Jen Ahana is the founder and creative force behind Ahana LLC.

Her work sits at the intersection of travel, storytelling, wellbeing, and human possibility. As the host and executive producer of Explore This, she has built a trusted body of work that helps travelers move from inspiration to action.

Her original travel films have reached more than one million viewers. She is the author of six destination guidebooks and has created work for tourism organizations and global brands while exploring some of the world’s most demanding landscapes.

Jen holds a doctorate in alternative medicine and brings a longstanding interest in human performance, mind-body work, and the ways our beliefs shape what we continue to ask of ourselves.

She is not interested in simply showing people where to go.

She is interested in helping them build a life capable of taking them there.

Everything we create is shaped by four principles.

We believe authority should be earned in the field. Our recommendations, ideas, and resources are grounded in direct experience, serious research, thoughtful testing, and an honest account of what we learn.

We are interested in what exists beyond those assumptions.
